The Hunger for Wholeness

After two moons through the bare landscape, they come to a cave that offers a moment of sanctuary. A moment to reflect upon Their quest to reunite soul with form. Or is not reunite, then to discover a way to infuse such an energy into their hollow bodies.

Each possesses a unifying drive to locate that which they feel is missing within them, propelling themselves as a unit to wonder through the physical realm attempting in order to fill that sense of alienation, that internal torment that tugs and fuels an insatiable hunger for wholeness.

Four past the hour
the bells chime late
sorrow fills streets
vacant of tears.

The quest to uncover
the unconceivable
becomes tangible,
sad eyes fill with light.
