I am, dear friend. I almost forgot I have a creator friend in you. This is a rediscovery for me.

Duane Kirby JensenThanks Okiri. Pleased you are moved.

Duane Kirby JensenI was just mentioning sleep when the neighbors started shooting off fireworks. This could be an interesting night. And now the gulls are squawking like the mad just released from confinement.

Poetic.
-- Okiri Christopher Raphael, 6/22/12

Duane Kirby JensenNow you have me warmly chuckling. Even as I am starting to think of sleep. I have an eleven hour day in front of me, but with all your heart-touching comments, I will have added spring in my step.

One word: Kickstarter. Okay, stick a fork in me, I'm done. I'm seriously going to take a vow of silence...starting...right...about...now...

Duane Kirby JensenSuch a poetic comment Jessica, I love it. I especially love the idea of opening a fridge door and discovering a painting. That in itself could make of an interesting painting. This is another sold painting. At times I forget how many I have actually sold. One day I hope I can support myself from my paintings and be able to paint even more. Oh, I have some ideas for supper large painting like 14 feet by 20 or thirty feet. That time will come.

texture, color... They're going to find me, old, starved to death, in a home filled with nothing but your paintings... in the pantry, in the fridge, on the walls, the ceilings, but not a crumb of food. They'll say, Art was her food...
