I will always be her “Monkey Boy”...
That crazy she embraced.
A gift I never wore,
That gift that hung from my rearview mirror
Symbolic of my - in her words- “Pretzel Logic”.
If only she could have seen the world through my eyes.
The calmness within me she could sense
when no one else did,
My quite isolation within that rowdiest of crowd,
