2007: The further exploration of the beauty of loss and longing.
The driving theme of my work is the narrative exploration identity and isolation and how each individual choses to move through life. Capturing the Indvidual in an unguarded moment when they engage themselves with internal dialogue.
A subcategory that emerged in 2007 was my Smoking Series. This series reflects my love affair with Film Noir. I am a non-smoking but love the texture and atmosphere smoke adds to an image.
My interest in movies and movie posters also inspired my Movie Poster Series. These films only exist in my mind, so don't spend time hunting through your DVD collection or searching any of the streaming service.
